Kristen Erickson, daughter of Larry & Cathy Erickson of Adel, Iowa and Rudy & Sharon Carey of Des Moines, Iowa, married Steven Lancaster, son of Marvin & Karin Lancaster of Clive, Iowa, on May 17, 2008.

An outdoor ceremony was held in the Rose Garden of Greenwood Park, followed by a cocktail reception at the Des Moines Art Center. The couple honeymooned in Miami South Beach.

The couple were good friends during their time at Valley High School in West Des Moines, IA and now lives in Carbondale, Ill. with their pet bunny, Karita.
