UNI is going to steamroll the Saluki’s. It’s Northern Iowa’s homecoming and they are on a hot streak. Might as well hand over the MVC championship now and save your team the embarrassment. Panthers are going to fill the dome, I have noticed not many of SIU’s fans like to travel up here, unlike the UNI faithful that make the trip down to your dog house. Let’s Go Panthers!

| The dome is tough venue. No arguing that fact. While I agree that UNI is a force to be reckoned with, especially at home, I think it would be a mistake to underestimate what SIU is bringing to the table this season - a monster offensive line and the #1 rushing back in the nation in Deji Karim, an already good defense that will be bolstered all the more by the return of, arguably, our best defender Chauncey Mixon. Oh, and Chris Dieker is playing with more confidence than ever. That's just naming a few highlights. Suffice to say that both teams are hot right now and we're in for a real battle. Best of luck to the Panthers, but SIU's gonna steal one - on homecoming day no less - at the Dome this year.

Where's that steamroller, baby? Sorry to spoil the homecoming festivities! It apperars to me that UNI fell prey to two of the classic blunders - over-confidence and under-estimation on Saturday. We already knew we could beat UNI, we just didn't know if we could beat UNI at the UNI-dome. Now we know.
A well-fought game, none the less. You guys are still at the top of the league ... you just have to get used to sharing that spot these days.
